Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked to learn this. We were never informed that the installer was not an employee of ADT. We have never inquired that issues that occur within 90 days of installation/activation should be resolved with a company other than ADT unless they are buried somewhere in the fine print. We hired ADT for this service and have always acted in good faith, expecting that the company (ADT) that regularly takes our money each month will also be the entity we need to turn to to solve problems. In addition, on November 8, an Elizabeth specifically advised us to call 800 ADT# to request a downtime credit. Feel free to refer to the recorded phone conversations to verify our claim. I needed clarity on how I was billed for August 2016, held the line for over an hour, was sent from one line to another, everyone transferred me to another department without help. My debit order was much larger than expected, so I needed the invoice details, I couldn`t get assistance from ADT. I am so disgusted by their terrible service that I would never recommend this company to anyone. I bought a new house on 4/1/2020.
I had added the service to this new home. I kept the service in the old house until it was sold. This house was sold on 01.08.2020 and I disabled the service at the old address. I had the service at this address since 5/2005 Before that, I asked if there would be any problems changing the service from one address to another. no penalty for what may be premature deactivation. I was told that there was no problem, because you have the same service at the new address, there are no penalties. So, on 24.08.20, I relaunched a letter dated 13.08.2020 with a fee for early deactivations of $425.78. I called and spoke to a Paul Reazes and he told me he would correct the mistake. I promise it will be repaired.
On 9/01/2020, I received an invoice dated 27/08/2020 for a fee of $ 1,460.70. Paul completely cancelled my service. I called on 01/9/2020 to have it corrected and spoke to an Angie @ 19:05 I made sure she had my phone number. She put me on hold and told me she was working on the subject. Then another person takes the call and now. Like it or not, I wasn`t a nice person to them because I`m tired of being past and nothing is fixed. at the time of writing, it is 8:00 pm and no reminder. I didn`t have an alarm at home and the people at ADT don`t care.
I am about to terminate my account, they can see me in court if they want money for nothing I have been an ADT customer for over 20 years and they no longer meet my needs and give me permits without communication or help. My system was outdated and monitoring wasn`t as much my priority as fire alarm. I had no choice but to cancel the service because ADT no longer met my needs. My current billing consists of fees that are retroactively dated April. How legal is it? And please don`t start a phone call with the happy birthday, I won`t be happy at all because I spend my birthday wasting my time on the security system I paid for, which never really worked, I called and called and called and only had bad services from ADT and safe Haven. ADT should be the most shameful company in the world that it offers this type of service to people who have paid a lot of money for a service. I think I paid over $3,000 in cash for used cameras and $70 a month for a surveillance system that doesn`t work. At this time, I don`t have a personal phone for my ADT security. It`s day #2. I communicated the problem I had to different people on several occasions, including a supervisor last night. I was very clear in the explanation, but no one LISTENs and therefore the technicians who come are NOT qualified to fix what is wrong.
The technician of the day #1 who came said he didn`t know what to do. He spoke to a dispatcher and arranged for a senior technician to come the next day. When #2 arrived, I explicitly explained the problem to him and asked him if he knew what to do before touching anything.
